F-35 Fighter Jet Falls Out of the Sky During Training

The pilot managed to eject in time.

The F-35 is a monument to hubris. The result of a multi-trillion dollar program, the F-35 is such a shit plane that it can deprive pilots of oxygen and, if they’re small enough, snap their neck when they try to eject. And this isn’t even mentioning the host of other problems with the thing — namely, that it’s just kind of bad at fighting, the one thing it’s supposed to be able to do really well.

Given this, I’m sure the pilot of this F-35 had a slight sense of relief after he left the plane — even though it was due to the fact that the craft was falling out of the sky. Here’s what the plane’s crash looked like.
